Lauren Graham was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Donna Grant and Lawrence Graham, a candy industry lobbyist. Her father is from New York and her mother was born in her native American South, and Lauren has Irish, English, and Scottish roots. Her parents were from Northern Virginia, USA. The family is Fairfax, Arlington, Great Falls, VA. She received her bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University in acting with a Master's Degree. Her father was her sole parent. She was 5 when the parents split up. She wanted to become a jockey as a child but due to her height it was not likely.
